Tuesday, July 13, 1999 saw the arrival of 14 tall ships that had sailed down the coast of California. The photo above, shows 5 of the tall ships in the harbor along with dozens of small boats that turned out to meet them.
This is the USS Eagle, which is crewed entirely by
teen-age Scouts. It is an ex-US Coast Guard ship.

Loma from about 800 MSL in a Grumman

The Star of India is the one with the red stripe along the
